How important dressing is???? I am not talking about professional dress you wear. It is how comfortable you are in the dress. Ex, few years back, I went to a call with my subordinate. He said today we need to meet the CEO of the company and we need to finalize the commercial. He also added, I will explain about the product and its benefits, so that they are happy. Since they are looking for Bulk no’s, he wanted to negotiate and finalize. While I was driving the car, I was causally talking to him. I asked him?? Is this the dress you are wearing for the first time?? He said , this is My Birthday dress and some one who is really close to me, gifted etc…… when I was listening , I asked him once again, Are you wearing it for the first time?? , he said YES. The meeting is by 11am. We reached the place by 10.55. Immediately we met the CEO with their admin manager. They offered tea, while my colleague having the tea, few drops of tea fell on his shirt. He was so conscious about the shirt, since it was new and that he wore for the first time. He was thinking about the shirt very often rather than putting his thoughts on the meeting. I found reason why he is like that then I took over the meeting and got the deal. As soon as I came out and I said, if it is an important meeting use the dress you are comfortable with.
Not only this, I am sure many times you might have noticed in Marriage and things like that , Girls who wear new dress , will say I will not sit here, others say, better I will change my dress before going for food. Same thing happens for guys who are going for interview or students who go for exams might have experienced the same!!!
So what is the learning here?????
It is always better to wear the dress when you are going out for important sales calls or any important occasion. At the same time I am not saying you must not wear new dress, but you must not always think about how this dress looks like for me… stuffs like this will reduce your productivity.

Thanks for the message..I’m presently out of job and looking for some good placement.I have attended interviews for IBM,EDS,etc.,but did not fit well with their requirement.
